We are proud to announce that Fortis Vision has been awarded the Certificate of Commitment and Progress – Building Safety Stage One: Leadership and Culture, by Building a Safer Future (BSF).
BSF are a non-profit organisation committed to raising standards in building safety and supporting required culture change in the built environment industry. They work with organisations from multiple sectors including refurbishment contractors, principal contractors and housing providers.
The team worked incredibly hard to secure this certification, completing a specialised assessment pathway tailored to the company’s business activities.
Fortis Vision will be pursuing the BSF Champion Assessment submission for Stage Two: Corroborating Elements next, which requires organisations to commit to putting building users first in an ongoing building safety journey.
Once complete, companies that are awarded the BSF Champion status will benefit from data and tools to help review and upgrade company processes.
Operations Director, Nikki Todd, said:
“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team for their support in gaining this certification and we’re proud to be on this journey with BSF – a movement and commitment to building safety, that we wholeheartedly support.”
