We have been working with Bristol and South West based charity, 1625 Independent People, refurbishing spaces at their St. George’s House accommodation in Bristol City Centre.
1625 Independent People work with young people who are homeless, leaving care or at risk of homelessness in Bristol and the South West.

St Georges House in the centre of Bristol has 21 beds and includes a ‘crash pad’ offering short-term emergency accommodation for young people facing homelessness.
The Fortis Vision team assisted with the full refurbishment of 2 flats and a kitchen area, work included new flooring, painting and new shower room aqua panels creating a fresh new space for residents. As the flats were occupied throughout, the Fortis Vision team worked with sensitivity and care to ensure that all work was carried out within a 48 hour timeframe, minimising disruption to residents.

Luke Brown Commercial Manager at Fortis Vision said “We are extremely pleased to be able to support St George’s House in Bristol, refurbishing these much needed spaces for their residents. The team were able to work efficiently to a tight deadline to ensure that any impact to residents was kept to an absolute minimum”
“Working with the staff team on site, we were able to coordinate the work to ensure that each stage of the project was delivered on time and has been very well received by the charity and their residentS.
