Fortis Vision is proud to announce that we have achieved Alcumus’ Safe Contractor Gold SafePQQ verification.
SafePQQ is an extension of the SafeContractor health and safety scheme that demonstrates a firm’s commitment to best practice. To achieve SafePQQ verification, Fortis Vision had to demonstrate excellence in health and safety in the workplace as well as our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.
The SafeContractor accreditation scheme sets rigorous standards in health and safety management and includes SMEs and FTSE 100 companies. The accreditation is provided by Alcumus, a leading provider of risk management, certification, and accreditation services.
Fortis Vision’s application for SafePQQ accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business and to give new and existing customers peace of mind that we are committed to the highest levels of health and safety standards and sustainable and ethical practices. The SafePQQ accreditation will also enable Fortis Vision to access more sustainable work opportunities in the future with clients that share our values.
To achieve SafePQQ verification, Fortis Vision underwent a stringent vetting process, which examined our health and safety procedures and track record for safe practice as well as our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.
“Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Fortis Vision has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example, which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector. SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs, whilst working with their contractors as they progress through the accreditation process.”
