Launch of National FPS

Fortis Vision, a leading refurbishment and development contractor announce the launch of National FPS – Fire Protection Services, a dedicated passive fire protection contractor operating nationwide.

National FPS has been established to provide specialist passive fire protection services to clients across the UK, including firestopping, fire door installation, fire door inspection and maintenance, and compartmentation surveys. The new business has been created to support building owners, principal contractors, developers, and asset managers in meeting increasingly rigorous fire safety and compliance requirements.

With a compliance-led operating model, National FPS delivers structured, accountable fire protection solutions across a broad range of sectors, including purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), hospitality, commercial, and education. With extensive experience in taking higher-risk building (HRBs) projects through Gateway 2 and 3 submissions, National FPS can meet the necessary critical milestones in the approval process with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).

Each project begins with a survey-led assessment, enabling the identification of fire safety requirements at an early stage and ensuring a clear, evidence-based delivery process from inception through to completion.

As a third-party certified contractor, National FPS provides comprehensive project documentation, audit-ready evidence, and a fully accountable handover, giving clients confidence that compliance obligations are being met and clearly evidenced long after works have concluded.
