180 Stratford High Street, London

Fortis Vision has completed works in creating a brand-new amenity space at a Build-To-Rent property in Stratford High Street, London.

Extensive works were carried out to create a new social working and study space including a fully operational café at this 26-storey property situated at 180 Stratford High Street, owned by Unite Students.

Following the conclusion of investigative surveys to existing building fabric and mechanical & electrical systems, a 10-month design period ensued navigating various planning conditions and client requirements.

Works on site commenced at the turn of the 2025 year and included installation of comprehensive M&E systems including fire suppression equipment, Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) units, electrical systems, new partitions, raised access floors and loose FF&E.

Alongside the above works, the scope also included the design and installation of a new glazed curtain walling system – a multistage process focusing on aesthetics and structural performance to ensure safety and water management whilst ensuring compliance with stringent building standards.

During this ten-month period on site the team completed a full fit-out of all furnishings, fixtures and equipment, completely transforming these core spaces into a functional, modern space for the local community and residents to enjoy.
