Challenges we overcame
This project presented several challenges, as it was a live site, the team worked diligently to ensure that there was minimal disruption to students for the minimal amount of time. During the peak schedule of work, the Fortis Vision team completed the full refurbishment of 6 studios per day – all to the high standard that Fortis Vision are known for.
As there was no storage on site, deliveries and materials had to be carefully planned and scheduled to ensure that the workflow remained seamless throughout the project. With daily deliveries and over 20 contractors working on site, the team ensured seamless organisation and planning for the project.
“The Fortis Vision team overcame several challenges associated with working on an in-occupation site. As the site is in a city centre location, the Fortis Vision team overcame challenges related to deliveries and ensured that the accommodation was fully refurbished ahead of the 2024/25 academic year”
