Full turnkey design and build works of a 35 bed purpose built student accommodation building including the refurbishment works to provide six one-bedroom apartments located in central Northampton, ready for the 2023/24 academic year.

Challenges we overcame
Fortis Vision has completed the design and build of a three-storey student accommodation block, covering 944 square metres of new build (Abington Square Court) and 408 square metres of change of use refurbishment (Orient House) in central Northampton ready for the 2023/24 student intake.
The project’s scope included the design and new build of a purpose-built student accommodation building, comprising of six cluster flats across three floors – with communal kitchens, living areas and 35 en-suite bedrooms.
The project, for private investment company, Abington Park Investments, included the refurbishment of an existing building to provide six one-bedroom apartments and incorporated the restoration of an existing Victorian frontage.

The project was completed within nine months, ready for the 2023/24 student intake.
